Write a summary about your topic in 3 paragraphs (or as many as there are people in your group)! You are describing the topic in traditional Sherpa times. Each paragraph will be 100-200 words. Divide it up.
For each paragraph, write a sub-title. At the end of your paragraph, write your name in parenthesis.

Make a page on this wiki for your group--just one page for the group. For the page title, you should use your group's topic and the first names of people in your group. See the Demo Page for directions formatting the page. Follow what's there.
Here's your 3rd assignment! -- group Write THREE questions for us to ask in Khumjung or elsewhere in Nepal. Remember that you are looking for information related to your topic in the Sherpa culture of today. Think about to whom we shoudl ask the question. (Note: We won't be able to ask all of the questions, but we will ask as many as we can and send up video of the interviews if we can. If we can't send videos, we'll send text.) Here's your 6th assignment! --group Embed a video into your site to practice doing it. Then delete it. Later, you'll look at the video we send, choose the ones you need, and embed them.

After we've posted video or interview notes: Select and embed videos related to your topic. These may or may not be focused on your specific questions. Just look for information related to your topic in some way. For each video:
Embed the video on your page.
Annotate it. Explain what's in the video. See Demo Page for a more specific directions.
Analyze it. Compare then and now. See Demo Page for a more specific directions.
Directions for Embedding Video:
Go to the site provided by your teacher to see the videos on Vimeo.
Play the video and decide if you want to embed it. If you do:
Click "Embed" in the top right corner of the video.
Select and copy the text that appears (the one that looks like code.)
Go to your Sherpa Times page.
Click where you want the video to go.
Click Widget at the top.
Click Video
Click Other at the bottom of the list.
Click in the box and paste in the code.
Click Save. You won't see the video on your page yet.
Click Save to save changes to your page. Then you SHOULD see the video on your page.
