Lhakpa Norbu Sherpa is the author of Through A Sherpa Window, the definative source on traditional Sherpa culture. On May 16th in Khumjung, we asked him if he had a few words for the Agnes Irwin 6th graders.
\ In Khumjung, we had the opportunity to speak with Peter Hillary, international trek leader, explorer and the son of Sir Edmund Hillary. We told him about our Agnes Irwin sixth grade study of Sherpa culture and asked him if he would say a few word to the 6th grade. We asked him what he considered one of the most important things we can learn from the Sherpa today.
